President Donald Trump is scheduled to give a prominent speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The central theme of his address will be the reassertion of American strength worldwide under his leadership. He is expected to highlight ‘historic accomplishments’ from his second term, including the resolution of seven global wars and conflicts. The speech will also likely address how ‘globalist institutions have significantly decayed the world order’ and will outline a ‘straightforward and constructive vision’ for global peace and cooperation. Trump plans to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the leaders of Ukraine, Argentina, and the European Union. A meeting with representatives from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan is also planned.
