Following the Alaska meeting, Trump indicated that the responsibility lies with President Zelensky, and he would urge European countries to take part. He would be present if Zelensky and Putin wished. Trump advised Zelensky to negotiate a settlement to stop the war, anticipating a meeting with Zelensky, Putin, and himself.
