Former President Donald Trump and Melania Trump were involved in an in-flight incident when their helicopter, Marine One, experienced a hydraulic issue, necessitating an emergency landing. The event happened while they were returning to Stansted Airport following the conclusion of his UK visit. The pilots made a controlled landing at a nearby airfield for safety reasons. The Trumps subsequently transferred to a backup helicopter. According to a statement from the White House, the pilots acted out of an abundance of caution. During his visit, Trump had a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, where he discussed his relationship with India and Prime Minister Modi. Additionally, he commented on the Russia-Ukraine war, expressing his disappointment in Russian President Vladimir Putin and suggesting the conflict would not have occurred had he remained in office.
