U.S. embassy urges China to launch 12 Hong Kong fugitives

The U.S. embassy in China has referred to as upon Chinese authorities to instantly launch 12 fugitives from Hong Kong and allow them to depart the nation on Monday, in line with a press release launched on Monday.
“Their so-called ‘crime’ was to flee tyranny. Communist China will stop at nothing to prevent its people from seeking freedom elsewhere,” the assertion stated.
Ten of the twelve Hong Kongers, who have been detained in Chinese waters whereas fleeing to Taiwan, will go on trial on the Yantian District People’s Court in Shenzhen on Monday afternoon.
