Canada has revealed the identity of ‘Mr. X,’ a mysterious figure in the Air India Kanishka bombing, which occurred 40 years ago and claimed 329 lives. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) played a key role in solving a critical piece of the case. This discovery is a major step forward in the investigation, as ‘Mr. X’ had remained unidentified for many years. The bombing took place on June 23, 1985. RCMP Assistant Commissioner David Teboul confirmed the death of Mr. X at a memorial event, but did not disclose his name due to privacy laws. The investigation unveiled that ‘Mr. X’ traveled to Duncan, British Columbia, on June 4, 1985, alongside Talwinder Singh Parmar and Inderjit Singh Reyat. The group conducted bomb tests in a forest, an event that was witnessed by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), who failed to recognize the nature of the explosion. Air India Flight 182, en route from Montreal to Mumbai, was destroyed by a bomb planted by Khalistani terrorists, killing all 329 people on board.
