Vinesh Phogat said – We were devastated by the behavior of BJP, we felt like leaving the country; Then why did you change your mind?
Vinesh Phogat, Congress candidate from Julana Assembly seat in Jind district of Haryana, said that she was thinking of leaving the country, but Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi changed her mind.
Priyanka Gandhi held a big rally in Julana today, in which Vinesh Phogat said that Priyanka had sat at Jantar Mantar and supported her colleagues, which continues even today. Vinesh said, “I will always stand for your rights.” We were completely heartbroken by the way BJP treated us. I felt like leaving the country. After this Priyanka Gandhi met us and encouraged us.”
Vinesh said that we thought that nothing good could happen to us because of bad people, but Didi inspired us and we got so much love from the country which we could not get till date. The Congress candidate said that we were very sad when the tricolor was being trampled in front of us, but Priyanka Gandhi had encouraged us. I was crying while locked in a room and when I came out, I came out in the form of Durga, in which Priyanka didi had the biggest hand.
Our connection with Haryana is very deep: Priyanka Gandhi While addressing the rally, Priyanka Gandhi said that Haryana is a state of farmers and my daughter, who was 15-16 years old eight years ago, used to play basketball for Haryana. When he had to come here, it was winter time, and I wanted him to come here. When I came here, there was a coaching center near Jind, I thought that if I went to the camp then everyone would know that she was my daughter, so I left my daughter at a distance and went to the field, where grandfather was harvesting. I did some work with him, he did not recognize me. Grandfather said, son, go home and take some rest. I also went home with him. He fed me food and gave me tea. I stayed at his house for four hours. Suddenly his son came and recognized me, then told me that I was Priyanka Gandhi. When people came to know, many people came. Grandfather and his son Manoj still come to meet me, but till date they have not asked for anything. This is the culture and traditions of Haryana, this is the specialty of Haryana. This state is yours and it is my family, our relationship is very deep.
BJP broke the trust on Vinesh: Priyanka said that Vinesh struggled, fought and reached the Olympics, she got the fruits of her struggle, she also got a medal, the Prime Minister called her home and served tea, all the BJP leaders said a lot, due to which We were all proud. Priyanka said that you all know, it is from here that Lord Shri Krishna gave the message of Geeta, but Vinesh’s trust was broken because injustice was done to her. Today is Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, and we remember one of his sayings, Satyamev Jayate, which he derived from the Gita. He said that whenever injustice happens, I will appear and fight against injustice. This is not about Vinesh, this was everyone’s struggle.
Attacking BJP, Priyanka Gandhi said that how much injustice was done to the farmers, Modi ji, who brought three black laws, was going to make such laws which will kick your stomach. This law was made to benefit the industrialists, but the farmers were martyred and did not move. When Uttar Pradesh assembly elections were held, they withdrew these laws. They talk about MSP and give MSP on crops which you do not grow here. They are fooling people.
Priyanka said that Haryana has lagged behind in terms of employment. Where will you get employment? They have given everything to Adani-Ambani, they have destroyed farming, their policies are against farmers, that is why they bring schemes like Agniveer. You are given a family ID, and every man in the family is asked. For the last ten years, they have snatched away their facilities by claiming false income. The time has come to stand against this injustice.
