Four Baloch fighters were killed in a violent confrontation with a pro-government armed group in Barkhan district, Balochistan. The clash took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil on Friday and lasted for several hours. Heavy weaponry was reportedly used by both sides during the exchange of fire. The identified Baloch fighters were Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib, and their bodies were taken to a hospital in Rakni. The opposing group involved is alleged to be a state-backed death squad, a term frequently used to describe pro-government militias. The Pakistani government has not released any official statement regarding the incident. In a separate development, a military operation in the Spilinji area of Mastung district resulted in intense fighting. Numerous troops entered the mountainous region, leading to heavy gunfire and explosions. Casualties were reported, though the exact numbers remain unclear.
