‘Water turned pink’: US vacationer who survived shark assault

By India Today World Desk: A US nationwide who survived a scary shark assault whereas swimming across the Galapagos Islands recalled how the water turned pink when she was bitten on her proper leg. Delia Yriarte, 42, by no means noticed the shark.

“It felt like a blow so I didn’t realise what it was,” she was quoted as saying by Fox News.

“While I was swimming I felt my leg go numb. When I turned around, I saw there was a lot of blood,” she stated.

Delia Yriarte obtained swift medical consideration at a hospital on Santa Cruz Island. Following surgical procedure on her proper leg, she fortunately didn’t lose her limb and remained aware all through the ordeal.

“I felt a little bit of a touch, not a pull not nothing like that and after that I felt my leg a little numb, then I kept pedaling, and I felt that my leg wasn’t responding,” she stated.
