By India Today Web Desk: US President Joe Biden on Monday expressed his condolences over the Morbi bridge collapse incident in Gujarat. The president wrote, “In this difficult hour, we will continue to stand with and support the Indian people.”
Jill and I ship our deepest condolences to the households who misplaced family members throughout the bridge collapse in India, and be a part of the folks of Gujarat in mourning the lack of too many lives minimize quick. In this tough hour, we’ll proceed to face with and help the Indian folks.

Over 130 folks have been killed, and several other have been injured after a cable bridge collapsed within the Machchhu river in Gujarat’s Morbi district on Sunday night. The cable bridge was restarted 5 days in the past after renovation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Morbi on Tuesday. He is touring the poll-bound state and chaired a gathering on Tuesday to overview the scenario after the tragedy.
