    WPL 2024 schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) to be held this year. Exactly one month from today, on February 23, the first match of Women’s IPL 2024 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The final match of the tournament will be played on March 17 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

    The inaugural match will be played between Delhi and Mumbai

    The first match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be played between last season’s winning team Mumbai Indians and runner-up Delhi Capitals. In the last season, both the teams performed well and managed to reach the finals. This time also the teams of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are being counted among the strongest teams of the tournament. In such a situation, both the teams will try to start the tournament with a win.

    This year there will be 22 matches between 5 teams in WPL

    Let us tell you that this year a total of 22 matches will be played between 5 teams in the Women’s Premier League. The final match will be played on March 17 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. All matches will start at 7:30 pm. The eliminator of the tournament will be played on March 15. Like last season, the top three teams will qualify for the playoffs.

    All matches will be held at two venues

    It is noteworthy that, the first season was played entirely in Mumbai, but this time the entire tournament will be played in two cities, Delhi and Bengaluru. The matches to be held from 23 February to 4 March will be played in Bengaluru. All the matches to be held after this will be held in the national capital Delhi. There will be no double header this season and a team will have to play back to back games in a gap of one day.
