Smriti Mandhana and Alyssa Healy scripted a dream chase for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, powering them to a nine-wicket demolition of UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League. The match at Chinnaswamy Stadium turned into a one-sided affair after a solid bowling display restricted the visitors.

Mandhana’s captain’s knock of 54 (30) featured a mix of classy drives and powerful pulls, while Healy’s 44 (22) was all muscle and intent. Their 10-over opening stand of 101 runs effectively ended the contest before it truly began, with RCB home in 12.2 overs.

UP’s 118/9 looked competitive initially, thanks to Harris’s gritty 38. But RCB’s bowlers, with Devine (2/20) and Shobana (2/25) leading, choked the runs and took key scalps. The Warriorz middle order crumbled under pressure.

Perry (19*) and Ghosh finished unbeaten, underlining RCB’s batting reserves. This emphatic win catapults Bengaluru higher in the standings, with Mandhana crediting the team’s fearless approach. As the league progresses, RCB emerges as a formidable force.
