Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship run ended abruptly on RAW, with Gunther regaining the title just weeks after WrestleMania 41. This quick title change has generated significant controversy, with fans and wrestling legends expressing their disappointment.

The abrupt ending to Jey Uso’s title reign was met with widespread criticism. Many viewers and analysts believe that Uso deserved a longer run, given his popularity and fan support.

Adding to the outrage, Rikishi, Jey Uso’s father and a WWE Hall of Famer, publicly criticized WWE and Triple H. Speaking on the “Off The Top Rope” podcast, he condemned the booking of Jey Uso and questioned the overall creative decisions. Rikishi highlighted Jey’s contributions to the company and his dedication to the sport.

In spite of this setback, Jey Uso will be competing in a King of the Ring qualifier. He will face Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed in a Fatal Four-Way Match to advance in the tournament. The King of the Ring Final will be held on June 28 at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.
