Purushottam Patra, Gariaband. Young social worker Gauri Shankar Kashyap celebrated the Republic Day by paying the school fees of two innocent children who were haunted by the sudden death of their father. His parents were not able to pay the monthly fee of Rs 60 and he himself could not study in Gaurishankar Sanshim, but now he himself is helping the needy. Social worker Gauri Shankar Kashyap may fall in the category of educated youth unemployed, but at his own expense he remains ahead in the work of social service and religious activities.

Gauri’s income depends on her father Bhagwat Kashyap’s bakery. With this income, Gauri Shankar Kashyap took care of the education of two innocent children who had lost their father. Today Gauri Shankar presented a check to the institution for the school fees of Deepesh Kumar BC, a student of class I, studying in Devbhog Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Vedvyas Kashyap, a student of class V, studying in Urmal Saraswati Shishu Mandir. Gauri Shankar celebrated the Republic Day by presenting a check of Rs 7800 to the head teachers of both the institutes.

One father died during the Corona period and the other died in a road accident.

Sargiguda resident Vijendra Kashyap died of Corona two years ago. Son Ved Vyas reached first class after Arun Uday’s education, but due to his earning father, the family expressed its inability to bear the expenses this year. Pradeep Kumar, resident of Madagaon, became the victim of an accident on 15 May 2023 in Kumhadai Khurd road before Tel River Pool. Since timely treatment could not be provided, the shadow of his father disappeared from his son Tipesh’s mind. The son was admitted to Devbhog Sanshimam but the family was unable to pay the fees. After receiving information about both the cases, Gauri Shankar Kashyap decided to bear the expenses of his studies.

Mother cried after hearing about her granddaughter’s school fees

Gauri Shankar Kashyap told that preparations were going on to admit his niece in a convent school in the month of July. The mother came to know that for the admission of her granddaughter, she would have to pay a fee of Rs 20,000. At this very moment, mother started sobbing remembering her old days. The mother narrated the incident of 2004 to her sons, when due to financial constraints, Gauri could not pay the monthly fee of Rs 60 to Devbhog Sashiman Vidyalaya for her studies in class IV. After completing half his studies, he was admitted to the school of Mungjhar. Since that time, Saraswati Temple was the only option for quality and cultural education in Devbhog area. After understanding the pain of the mother hidden in this story, Gauri Shankar Kashyap contacted both the institutions and asked them to provide information about the needy.
