    In advance of a meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to discuss the war in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The upcoming meeting is scheduled for August 15th. Zelenskyy has been actively reaching out to world leaders, and the conversation with Modi was announced on social media. Zelenskyy noted that the discussion included important matters of bilateral cooperation and the wider diplomatic scenario. He expressed his thanks for the Prime Minister’s words of support. Modi also posted about the discussion, stating his pleasure in talking with Zelenskyy and learning his perspective. He also highlighted India’s commitment to seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict and to strengthening bilateral relationships with Ukraine.
