President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the “language of force” is essential when dealing with Russia. He made this statement in a video message on X, highlighting that this approach is crucial for international engagement in the coming months. Zelenskyy is focused on the upcoming June summits, including the G7 Summit in Canada and the NATO Summit in the Netherlands. He is committed to ensuring these summits are successful. He also mentioned that important meetings and negotiations will be taking place in Ukraine in the coming weeks. The G7 Summit, hosted by Canada, is set for June 15-17, 2025. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to the G7 Summit this month. Zelenskyy also addressed the failed prisoner exchange, which was postponed due to disagreements between the two sides. He stated that Ukraine is working to secure the release of its POWs and the return of its fallen warriors, noting that Russia has yet to provide the full lists for the exchange, as agreed in Istanbul. Zelenskyy condemned Russia’s attempt to turn the issue into a political maneuver.
