Basant Panchami brought a powerful message from Bihar’s Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash, who greeted the populace while advocating for intellectual growth, rational thought, and communal solidarity.

‘This isn’t just about worship; it’s inspiration to forge ahead and craft an improved society,’ Prakash told reporters, encapsulating the festival’s deeper significance.

His wishes were clear: a Bihar aglow with knowledge, embracing science, and fortified by mutual harmony. ‘Only through education and progressive thinking can we propel our state and nation forward,’ he emphasized.

Shifting focus to governance, Prakash reaffirmed faith in the current regime’s efficacy. Under the Chief Minister’s stewardship, Bihar exemplifies good governance with an ironclad zero-tolerance approach to crime.

‘We treat every offense with utmost seriousness—immediate investigations lead to rapid, harsh penalties for the guilty,’ he detailed.

The minister expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, standing in empathy with their kin.

He didn’t spare the Congress, accusing it of chronic disregard for the poor.

Affiliated with NDA partner Rashtriya Lok Morcha, Prakash drives key initiatives in local self-governance as Panchayati Raj Minister.
